01Data Controller

02What We Collect

• Application data — name, contact, resume, role selection, self-described motivation.
• Interview scheduling — availability, chosen time slots, calendar integration where you connect one.
• Voice-note rejection feedback — audio recordings we produce as feedback and their machine-generated transcripts, stored to your dashboard.
• Dispute submissions — written reasons and any supporting artifacts you attach.
• Uploaded rejection-proof documents (100 Rejections path) — up to 100 screenshots per applicant, held in a private storage bucket, used only for verification of the 100 Rejections claim.
• Bank account information — collected only after Cohort acceptance, for the sole purpose of processing the advance payout.

03Sensitive Data Handling

Bank account information is used exclusively for advance payout processing. Access is restricted to authorized personnel handling payouts. We do not sell, rent, or share bank information with any third party outside the payout processor described in Section 05. Bank details are deleted on request once no active payout is pending.

04Third-Party Content in Uploads

Rejection screenshots submitted for the 100 Rejections path may contain information about third parties (recruiters, hiring managers, employer identifiers). You are responsible for redacting anything you do not wish to disclose. We use these uploads solely to verify the rejection claim, do not republish them, and do not use them to contact third parties.

05Third-Party Processors

• Hosting & platform — Lovable (application hosting) and its managed backend (database, authentication, object storage).
• Analytics — a first-party product analytics tool used to understand aggregate usage of the site (see Cookies).
• Payout processor — a regulated financial institution that executes advance transfers to your bank account.
• Scheduling tool — used to coordinate interview availability once you enter the interview pool.
• Transcription tool — an automated speech-to-text service (OpenAI Whisper) used to generate transcripts of rejection voice notes.

06Legal Basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (submitting an application, uploading rejection proof), our legitimate interest in evaluating applicants and operating the platform, and performance of a contract once you are accepted to the Cohort and the advance is issued.

07International Data Transfers

Black Swan Ventures Group LLC is a U.S. entity. Applicant data from all 13 tour cities — including the EU (Munich), UK (London), and jurisdictions across the Americas and Asia-Pacific — is processed in the United States and by our processors' regional infrastructure. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards with our processors.

08Data Retention

Application and interview data are retained for up to 24 months from the date of application, or longer if you are engaged with a portfolio venture. Voice-note feedback and transcripts are retained for 24 months. Rejection-proof uploads are retained for 12 months after verification and then deleted. Bank account information is retained only as long as a payout obligation is active plus the minimum period required for financial recordkeeping. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

09Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–21)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Exercise any of these rights by emailing mgmt@blackswanventuresgroup.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
